| School Description |
Walters State Community College is a Tennessee Board of Regents two-year college located in Morristown, Tennessee, and is named after former United States Senator Herbert S. Walters.
WSCC serves the Upper East portion of the state, a rural mountainous area where higher education was not readily available to citizens prior to the 1970's.
As a part of the college's overall mission to provide leadership and academic opportunities to the entire service area of the college, Walters State also operates three full-service satellite campuses in Greene, Sevier, and Claiborne Counties, and teaching sites in other counties of the region. |
